The BEST Dog Cake Recipe For Your Pup’s Birthday

If it’s your dog’s birthday and you don’t bake a dog cake recipe…. WHAT are you doing??? Everyone knows that dogs are the new kids for millenials and we treat them better than we treat ourselves, so why not bake them a cake?

Whether it’s your dog’s birthday, or you just feel excited to bake them a cake, this post is for you! I have adapted a dog cake recipe to include healthy foods that are safe for dogs and also delicious. I loved making this for my dog and she DEVOURED it!

This post is my favorite dog cake recipe that I bake for my own dog, Bentley!

The DELICIOUS dog cake recipe that Bentley loves!

Ingredients:

1. 1/4 cup peanut butter

2. 1/4 cup almond butter

3. 2 cups flour

4. 2 1/2 tbp baking soda

5. 1/3 cup honey

6. 2/3 cup almond milk

7. 1/4 cup vegetable oil

**This recipe has been adapted from recipetineats.com and I substituted eggs and milk for almond butter and almond milk because I am reactive to those foods so I don’t keep them in my house**

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350

2. Grease your cake pan

3. Mix the peanut butter, almond butter, oil, almond milk, and honey

4. Add in flour and baking soda

5. Put the mixture into the pan and make sure it’s evenly spread out

6. Bake 25 minutes

I am including some photos of Bentley’s initial taste test of this recipe! I think she loves it and I truly love making things for her! To me, it doesn’t need to be a birthday to celebrate her. Every day is the best day with Bentley.
